SIGHTSEEING


Sightseeing in Tallinn gives an introduction to the historical heart of Tallinn, which especially during the 15th century was a rich and prosperous town of Hansa merchants’. Tour includes the Dome Hill (Toompea), Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevski Cathedral. After visiting the Dome Church (13th century) and enjoying a breathtaking view from a viewing platform, the tour continues by strolling along the narrow cobblestone streets down to the Town Hall Square that features the gothic Town Hall from 13/14th century – one of the oldest in Northern Europe.

Kadriorg Palace and park in Tallinn were founded by the Russian Tsar Peter I for the Empress Catherine I. The name Kadriorg in Estonian means Catherine’s valley.

Tartu is a university town in the central part of Estonia. That is a second largest city in the country with the population of only 100 thousand inhabitants, most of which are students and teachers. Among the main attractions are University complex, Angel’s bridge, National court, Observatory and ruins of the Toome cathedral.
